Living as a Black Mother in America with Kylie Sharfner

Hello Miracle Workers-
Today is such a special episode with a lot of insight as to what is happening in today's world around us. Nichole is having one of many conversations with her friend Kylie Sharfner and you get to listen in on it. During this episode Kylie talks about what it’s like being a black mother in America, why we should learn history (not just what’s taught to us at school) and of course what you can do during this time. Nichole invited Kylie to share her story because she’s been her friend for over a decade, this isn’t their first conversation on this topic. As Nichole said in her instagram post, “Kylie has helped me understand cultural appropriation, when I didn’t get it 6 years ago. She’s helped me become a better ally. She’s made it easy to have difficult race talks.” Not only that but she has also supported Chanel, Nicholes bi-racial daughter, as she isn’t in contact with any of her black relatives. Kylie is not only an incredible human, she is also a successful business woman, mother and wife. The list can go on forever.
